i have a friend that is trying to get custody of little brother…..?
her brother is living with his father who is a really bad drug user. this mornin she called the cops because her fathers girlfriend is bi polar and not on her meds and freaked out cuz she was goin to take her brother to go and see her mother. last night she was visiting from out of town and went to the bball game with her brother and sister and when they were picked up by their father at the school he was high( on meth and Marajauna) and drunk. when they arrived to the house there was foils(peices of aluminum foil that is used to smoke the meth and joints laying all over the table there was a 3 week old baby in the house and so she took her brother and they went in the room and went to sleep. her brother is 12 years old and no longer wants to live with either of his parents he wants his sister to get custody of him. plz help me help her that little boy really needs to get away from that. Also he is ADD and his father has not taken him to get his meds.
The sister.. would have to show financial responsibility.. another money in the bank to support him.. have a home.. car… job..
then show why …??? proof.. that the parents should not have him.
she will need an attorney..
it will cost money…. or contact legal aid for assistance
