Bend Bait
When fishing i feel nibbles but dont catch anything why?
My rod bends and all i get are nibbles when i bring the rod back up it doesnt have any bait. Any help? I think i have to big a hook but those are huge fish so what is going on? Are the little fish the ones that nibble? Any advice will help.

You’re fishing with the wrong size hook in the wrong depth. You’re only getting sunfish nibblers.
Right now crappie are ready to spawn. Use a med. to small hook with a minow at about 30 feet. If you’re fishing for walleye use 2 jigs (if the water is murky try yellow/red, if it’s clear try darker color). Attach half of a night crawler on the end jig.
If you’re fishing for walleye or channel, drag the bottom with a treble hook and worm. Very slowly reel it in.
