Big Spinning
How do I teach my big boxer to spin?
I am horrible at teaching dogs tricks. I managed to teach her sit, lay down, stay (still working on that one), shake,up. Don’t say anything about getting a trainer. I want to do this myself. Not going to buy anything either. We do have some treats for her though. Any help would be appreciated. Or tips!!!
Put a leash on your dog and lead her so that she spins around (without twisting the leash around her neck). Then praise her, give her the treat, and repeat. This will take a while. Practice every day for around ten minutes, try to use as few treats as possible, but keep laying on the praise and adoration. Your dog should eventually pick up on it. Plus, boxer dog, good choice! I would love to have one some day.
