Brain teaser HELP please?
Your trapped i a room. One door leads to heaven, one door leads to hell. Their are two birds in the room, one bird ALLWAYS lies and the rother bird ALLWAYS tells the truth. You dont know which door is which, and also dont know which bird is hich, the birds , however, know exactly which door is heaven and which is hell. As soon as you open a door, your stuck with it
you get to ask ONE question to ONE bird. How do you figure out which door leads to heaven?
No i dont know that answer lol my friend told me it and I cant find the answer
Ask either bird the following: “If I ask the OTHER bird which is the door to Hell, which one will he point to.” Which ever door he says, choose it.
Let’s assume the Right door leads to Heaven and the Left door to Hell.
If he’s the truth telling bird, he will correctly tell you that the lying bird will point you to the Right.
If he’s the lying bird, he will lie and tell you that the truth-telling bird will point to the door to Heaven when you’ve asked for the one to Hell.He will, therefore, tell you that the other bird will point to the Right.
Either way, if the bird says “Right” (Heaven), choose that door.
