If Chris Brown was a female would his career have been affected?

I believe that once a person is found to commit a crime he should pay. However the problem I have is that people in our socieity is backlashing him because he is a male and the victim is a female.
If a female celeb had done the same or a more severe act such as stabbing, using an object I dont think her career would have been hit as hard and even if it was proven that she was the aggressor people would have tried to find a reason as to why she was provoked.

i agree. chris brown is looked down upon for being a male. yes it was a disgrace what he did, but if she did that to him (which she did) it’d be okay (and it is). its sickening because girls get the pity treatment
