Indian Peafowl:
It designed as the National Bird of India. Peafowl’s colorful feathers makes it the most attractive bird on the globe. Theis type of species is found in almost all the parks of India.
Great Indian Bustard:
This long legged Bustard can be encountered in the protect areas of Desert National Park. External anatomy can hardly define the difference between its male and female features. Bird-watchers can also have a glimpse of the species in Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary(Gurgaon) and Lala-Parjau Sanctuary in western Kutch(Gujarat).
Common Kingfisher:
It is one of the most popular avi-faunas, inhabited in India. The bird measures about 17 cm in length and weigh about 30-34 g. The life span of a Common KingFisher is just 7 years. It is highly found in Corbett National Park, Bandhavgarh National Park and Sunderbans National Park.
Grey Junglefowl:
As the name of the bird indicates, they have long neck with gray blackish color. Their comb is deep red and feathers have a combination of white and black stripes. Grey Junglefowl is commonly found in Bandipur National Park, Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Sultanpur National Park.
Brown long eared Bat:
This medium sized bat features face of pink color. Females of the type are sightly larger then males. Recently IUCN has enlisted it as a vulnerable species on the Earth and according to research the longevity of Brown long Bat extends to maximum 30 years and minimum to 4 years of age. The bird can be encountered in Bhratpur Bird Sanctuary and Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary.
