my female leopard gecko accidently clawed male’s eye!?
she was climbing on him (she was a bit stressed) and her claw hooked in the side of the male’s eye! it looked ok and he was acting just fine. do you think he will be fine? what should i watch for?
It should be alright.
The worst thing that can happen is it will form an eye infection, which comes when something pokes their eye or gets in it. They can be treated with eye drops from the vet.
Watch out for watery or filmy eyes. This is a sign of an infection.
If everything is alright this week, it should be fine. If you see any cloudy eyes, contact the vet.
