Color Fish
My Grandma is giving me a 5/6 gallon tank. What color Betta fish should I get?
I want to know what are your favorite Betta Colors, fin types, and such.
Please provide a link to a picture!
The tank comes with a filter, heater, and cover. I can easily buy the plants and gravel.
For JV:
I have not been able to go to Walmart yet to buy test strips for my tanks, but I should be going to Petsmart today to trade in a new, dead turquoise guppy for a new one. I will use my remaining money to buy test strips.

I like the unusually colored ones, I’d love to get a yellow/mustard gas one but I have no room. If you want other fish to live with it, I’d get a veil tail, they have the best reputation as far as getting along with other fish (though in a 5 gallon there’s not really room for other fish). Crowntails are supposed to be the more aggressive type. Halfmoons are really gorgeous too.
