Dual Lock
What is causing my pc to lock up when I play videos and games?
This just started recently. Checked for virus and the like and nothing. Fan is working on video card. Any ideas? Help!
PC has Windows XP with Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.66 GHz with 2.00GB Ram.
Additional info: video card is barely a year old. I tried to reinstall drivers – no change.
My EVGA 6600 Geforce died after over a year of use. I waited to long to upgrade the PSU for it, but then it would just lock up on a couple of games. After a while it just stopped working. Try swapping out the Graphics card or using the onboard video and see if that resolves the problem.
