do they make patch cable extension cables?
i have a 2wire wifi thing and i want to plug the patch cable into a different pc across the room and the 1 patch cable i have isn’t long enough so i was wondering if they make i guess you call them extension cables (like male-to-female kinda cables) and if yes….where do i find them?
They make 8 pin couplers, both female jacks in a small plastic holder. Just make sure it has all 8 pins in it (not 6 like phone couplers), and see that it is CAT5 compatible.
With that, you just plug two regular cables together to extend the distance. However, it is always better to use one continuous cable if possible….
