Head Jig
i am fishing a clear water lake in hanover PA.. the lake holds alot of small bass how do i catch a big one?
i can catch 12 to 14 inch bass with a jig head and a grub. but you have to catch a bass 15″ or bigger to qualify. and i just cant seem to catch them that big… the temperatures of the lake are around 70 to 80 degrees.
use a much bigger grub ben and this time of year be throwing lizards onto cliffs and sticking them there. then wiggle the rod till the lizard falls off the rock onto and in the water always try to throw your bigger baits into shaded areas the bigger fish will run off the smaller ones to get the shade in this kinda hot sun. if they aren’t hitting move off shore and find a hump or rock pile (preferably near to a steep drop off to deep water) and hold on.
