Is it relaxing? H_ _L NO! Freeze your @_$ off in 30 below with a howling wind and blowing snow. Well, if you have a shanty with a wood stove, it is not half bad, but the thing with shanties is, you never set them up where the fish are….. SOOOO, either you catch fish and freeze, or you stay nice and toasty and catch nothing…..
Anyways, I love the ice fishing, but you really have to love fishing to enjoy it….
Good luck and have fun….. no ice fishing here for another 4 months….
