Why do politicians only act on public sensitive issues so that they can ride the wave?
The poll proves that we are always drawn to political rubbish, their policies are never achieved or ever implimented, they are never held to their word, they know this, that’s why they promise anything that’s going to put them into office for 4 years, once they are in office they can begin to line their pockets and their cronies. Politics has been turned ito a business, a very profitable one ,they shuffle away from the heat, until it cools down, then pop up again for round two, we have very short memories,We are all living on credit, bar the filthy rich, there will be a price to pay and it will be very soon, no one invests in the future anymore, the quality of workmanship throughout all industries are suffering through this fact, pride in workmanship is stifled because of price, and we don’t do anything about it because we are all divided,engulfed with our own selfconcern and greed.
I fully agree with you and it makes everyone very cynical. toward politics and the myth of democracy.
Unfortunately most politicians are lawyers they have a very different appreciation of the truth (in terms of what they actually said) that of course “we” the peasants mis-understood and they didn’t actually say it.
It has been said many times, “the worst kind of people become politicians, the good people who should be politicians don’t want the job”
