Why was Jim Gordon responsible for Rachel’s death in the movie “The Dark Knight”?
In the movie “The Dark Knight” Jim Gordon admits to Two Face a.k.a. Harvey Dent that he was responsible for Rachel’s (the woman Batman loves) death. How was he responsible and why would he do that?
He wasn’t directly responsible, in fact, no one was probably responsible but the joker, his men, and Rachel herself. they all knew the risks when they fought crime but continued anyway. Two-face blames Gordon because he did not save her in time, and because two police officers working for Gordon captured Dent and Rachel and got them to the Jokers men who then put them with explosives in the buildings. Dent told Gordon that he had dirty cops, but Gordon didn’t listen. Rachel’s death was indirectly Gordon’s fault.
