The support and loud cheering everywhere the Red Sox play are ample evidence the Red Sox are Americas choice for an honest, hard working, professional baseball team. The fact that the do not win every year is evidence of their honesty and integrity. Baseball is a business and money talks. The recent success of the Red Sox as serious competitors has a bit to do with the influx of fresh money from the new owners who are willing to go buck for buck against the Evil Empire in New York and give Boston the strong contender it deserves. This combined with a rejuvinated player development system has brought them success of late. No curse, no hard luck story. The Yankees do now and have alway purchaced the players they want. This has destroyed the competition and assured them the wins. Not that they play well as a team, the competition is deprived of the best players.
