DVD/CD-ROM DRIVE (LITE-ON COMBO LTC-48161H) not reading a CD that contains CD audio? Help!!!!?
The CDRom drive can read all other cds except for the ones that are being created at church and then burned to cd in .cda format. The CDRom was able to read this type of CD before but for some unknown reason it doesn’t anymore. The CDRom spins up, recognizes that there is a CD inserted but reads it as a blank CD.
It is possible that either your CD got scratched so the drive isn’t reading the data. Also, your drivers may have somehow got uninstalled. You can go to LITE-ON’s website, Google the driver, or use Driver wizard (if you have Windows XP).
