Mini White
How can I make my mini-blinds white again?
My white mini-blinds are turning yellow. I’ve tried white vinegar and it didn’t work. Soaking in Comet or dish detergent does not work. I really don’t want to use bleach because of the fumes and skin contact. Is there a home-remedy or brand name that I should be using?
Try washing them in the tub with Borax….it’s a bleaching agent but smells nice! (turns into hydrogen peroxide in the water) Then hang to dry.
EDIT: it’s safe to use…no toxic fumes and I wouldn’t use it for a lengthy prolonged time without gloves, but it’s ok not to wear them either. (I’ve cleaned silver in the sink using Borax, aluminum foil on bottom, and hot water).
