North Face or Patagonia Backpack?

I’m wanting to get a new backpack, it will be used for college, traveling, hiking, and just about anything else you can imagine. I have three choices (listed below) two are from North Face and one is Patagonia. Which one do you recommend I get and why? Thanks!

All three of them are great choices. Personally, I prefer Patagonia because of their corporate ethics. Yvon Chouinard practically invented modern rock climbing with removable protection devices to reduce the ecological impact. They also contribute to 1% for the planet. Most of their materials are made of recycled products and are themselves highly recycleable. They are good corporate citizens that take care of their employees. North Face was bought out long ago and is a subdivision/brand line of the Liz Clairborne corporation. They used to make highly technical outdoor gear. After the acquisition they now tend to focus on lifestyle wear and basic gear. It’s still good stuff and I own quite a bit of it.

Not sure if any of that matters to you. Technical-wise, all 3 items you listed are very nice and will serve you well!
