Is it possible to hook PC speakers to TV?
We have a Polaroid 3211TLXB 32 in. LCD Television and I wanted to get 6-Pc 5.1 Channel PC Speaker Set (Black). are there any wires i could get to hook up these speakers to fit the tv?
Simple answer: Yes. I do it on my 32″ HDTV with logitech speakers.
My 32″ Olevia comes with an audio-output that has connection for the speakers and also the standard Red, White and Yellow connections.
I dont use a reciever, and I didn’t spend a ton of moneyon the set-up, as the Madcatz connector I use only cost $15 (but I got it years ago, and now cannot find a similar product online. But you don’t need it).
1. Place the speakers wherever you want them. If they are a decent set, they should come with their own power source, i.e. a wall plug.
2. Get a chord that has the female headphone jack on one end and the male AV jacks on the other.
This can go directly into your TV if there is no headphone jack on the TV.
3. Plug the speakers into this chord and plug this chord into the audio output on the TV however you want, either using just the headphone jack or the AV cable method.
