good deal for fishing reel/pole?
this is the ad:
rod is a penn captiva cv662l. its 6 1/2 ft 4-10 lb line. cork handle, good for fresh or salt water. reel is shimano r 4000. reverse lever and ez cast lever. $25 or best offer.
i am going to the keys, next week, and dont have much money, so i am trying to spend the least possible….like $25 on something good….
Reel is good but rod is too light. A light freshwater rod is not a good choice around the keys. The price for the combo sounds reasonable. Too bad it isn’t a suitable combo for your purposes. You can get heavier and more suitable combos at stores like Wal-Mart for around $25.
