How Can I Fix A bent Eye on a Custom fishing Rod?
I have a custom rod and two of the eyes are bent out of place. I need to get them back to normal. How can I do this? I tried needle nose pliers which almost broke it. any suggestions?
not the eye, the piece connecting the eye to the rod
remove the bent ones and replace them or have it done by a professional. most full service shops can handle this and all your wraps will match.
trying to twist the guide can possibly damage your rod also. be careful.
