It’s were princes and princesses live happily ever after
And the monsters are exiled
Where you can hear the children’s laughter
It’s where the stories are compiled
Where the writing blocks and bad plots
Will never be seen
It’s where the inspiration comes from
It’s the home to dragons and mermaids
And knights oh so brave
And fairies and nymphs
And damsels to save
The kings are jolly
The princesses fair
All the animals have magic
But were strife is rare
Where good poets and writers flourish
And where genies give more than one wish
Where paupers are princes
And words are never minced
It’s where the inspiration comes from

It seemed like you were more focused on the fairy tale side. To the people who write, what they are writing is as real as the coffee they are sipping or the pencil they hold. But what they write is in their head. What’s in their head was put their by something else: an experience, a person, a story, etc.
Your poem sounds like a fantasy land or the perfect land for writers. You don’t really clarify on what it is. You talk about all the mystic creatures, and royalty, but then you talk about how all the writing is good without error. It would have been nice you were to add in all the genres instead of just one. And made it seem like the writers were observers in this land. But not make the poem about inspriation.
