Quantum Snapshot
I have a quantum snapshot SS30 fishing reel and I need help stringing it correctly.?
I have a reel and need help lining it. The snapshot has a trigger release attached to side of bail arm. How do I get line to spool out correctly without unreeling drastically.
Firstly what you are going to want to do is flip the “bail” up on your reel. The bail is the semi circle metal piece on the reel that will allow the line to either come off the reel or go back on to it.
You are going to want to have your reel attached to your pole when spooling it. Now this part is a MUST start feeding the line down the eyelets of the pole MAKE SURE THAT IT IS COMING OFF THE SPOOL THE SAME WAY IT IS GOING TO BE REELED ON TO THE POLE! Now tie the one end of the line to the cylinder make sure that it is tight and wont spin freely. Now close the bail and have someone help you keep a little tension on your line while you slowly reel it onto your reel. The reason you want to make sure that the line goes on your reel the same way as it is coming off the spool is because if you don’t within the first few casts it will make a “Birds Nest” in your line which really means that it will just spool off your reel backwards and that will be the end of the fishing day for you which is no fun…
