what is centriflex backlash control?
how does this feature differ from mag-force. and also how does one set the castcontrol in the daiwa luna TD 300. i would also like to know is there any lever one presses before casting because i cannot see any lever like in the old casting reels
Centriflex uses mechanical brakes to control backlash. Magforce uses magnetic dampening to control backlash. Adjustment for Centriflex equipped reels is found inside the reel, on the end of the spool. To adjust, grasp the spool and rotate the blue colored Centriflex ring clockwise for greater braking action, or counter-clockwise to decrease braking action. As with Magforce, it is recommended you start at a maximum setting until you get the feel of he reel, gradually decreasing the setting until you reach a point that best suits your skill level.
I am certain your model has a thumbar for casting.
