How does one thread the line of a spinning reel through the eyelets of a fishing pole?
The spinning reel came already set up; now I must get the line to go through the spinning thing on the bale so it works properly. I cannot figure this out, and it didn’t come with instructions. How do I properly thread the line through the mechanism? Can anyone tell me in simple instructions or provide a link with pictures? This was a fathers day gift I’d like to get working! Thank you!
Open the bail on the reel and leave it open. Pull the line up and thread it through the guides of the rod starting at the bottom. Once the line goes through the tip top guide, pull out some extra line and close the bail.
