Will adding salt to a fresh water pool thats already green be ok?
We have a 18 X48 in fresh water pool…Had it about 2 weeks and have never put any chemicals in it. It is now green and we are wanting to go salt water. Is it going to be ok to just put salt in it?

but to kill and filter the algae will require chlorine and test kits to stabilize the water
why not just dump the water and start over
