How can I lock my window after installing an air conditioner?
The A/C I just installed came with a small window locking bracket that’s supposed to screw into the window frame. The problem, however, is that the frame is made of a hard plastic material, not wood, so I can’t screw through it. Is there any other way to secure the top of the window so it’ll be locked? I tried to super glue the small locking bracket, but that didn’t work very well. Thanks for the help!
Cut a strip of wood the length from the top of the window to the bottom of the frame. Make it just a little long and wedge in place. Tap in place and no one could open that window.
