Why is it shallow to want to date a good looking woman?
Im really wondering why women think its shallow that i would like to date somebody good looking rather than fat? is that shallow. I would think its on the same lines of people dont want to date military guys. Thats there right isnt it? Im not saying my view is right or wrong. But why is it any worse than anybody else excuse?
Everyone wants to date someone good looking. It’s fine (my boyfriend is in fact very good looking) but it should be a combination of looks and personality because if it’s about both then people would feel valued, rather than used.
Well, my boyfriend is just as thin as me (and I have no fat whatsoever) so I can see why you don’t want to date someone who is overweight. I personally prefer thinness. However, many overweight people are nice and can actually be good looking in the face. It just depends on who it is.
You answered a question of mine that asked “why do guys always rate girls based on their appearance?”. I didn’t mean to imply that my opinion is more valid than yours, I was just stating my opinion. Your opinion is valid to your preferences, and my opinion is more valid for myself. lol I do get good ratings from guys, thanks for asking, but I don’t like being rated full stop. That’s just me, and surely there’s no harm in me not wanting people to look at me only for my appearance?
It’s not shallow to want a good looking person, it’s just that you should also like the person for who they are. If you don’t like someone in THAT way, prepare to be blamed. or example, I was once stalked by this horrid guy who wouldn’t take no for an answer. I told him once and for all that I didn’t want him, and he went around saying that the only reason that I didn’t like him was because he “was not good looking and was not cool”. In actual fact, the reason I wouldn’t touch him was because I thought he was an annoying loser. See, if you turn down someone who is overweight, they may just think “Oh, you only hate me because of my weight” when really, you don’t like them as a person anyway.
Hmmm, I haven’t heard of people not wanting to date military guys, so I don’t even know what that means. Remember, everyone’s definition of good looking is different so a guy might feel like he’s shallow if he only goes for chubby people because to him, they’re the hot ones!
