Shimano citica for striper?
I have been doing some fresh water striper fishing lately and borrowing a friends rod and reel. Will my Shimano Citica 200E on a Shimano medeum/heavy 7 foot Compre work for this type of fishing?
I see no problem with reel . Just make sure it has a full spool of line and the drag is adjusted just below the breaking point of the line.It will take an extremely large fish to strip out all your line. It’s just an occasional trip, not like you fish for them daily.
