Shimano’s conventional fishing reels include Tekota level wind reels which are a durable, high-speed reel that casts well and has been designed for years of comfort and ease of use. Shimano’s Torium reels are also popular among fishing enthusiasts, along with Speed master High Ratio Game fish reel TD reels, TLD Star drag reels and Trinidad Narrow Specials for high speed and less wobble, Moocher plus GD reels featuring a new metal palming ring which gives a smooth and powerful platform designed for comfort.
Shimano also has a huge range of spinning reels which include Bait runner D Spinning reels which are a new compact profile lineup of bait runners that can handle any live bait application from small 400 sizes of freshwater and inshore species to large 12000 sizes of blue water species.
Shimano fishing rods include Calcutta rods, TLD rods, Tallus casting and spinning, Blue Water Atlantic series rods, Casting V and Spinning V rods. The Tallus International Game Fish Association series of trolling rods were created for 50-lb., 80-lb. and 130-lb. line class ratings. The series also allows anglers to customize their purchases by offering either the tip section without the AFTCO Unibutt or the entire rod, including the butt.
