Snap Swivels
Will the Palomar knot work well with a swivel snap?
I am wondering, if the loop, that gets pulled over, might get cut by the wire wraps!
the palomar knot is the strongest for attaching hooks or swivels.
for nylon mono, fluorocarbon and braids.

this site, NAFC, has a “knot wars” segment on their TV show. they compare knots to each other. judge for yourself.
just be sure all your knots are tied correctly. and lubricated.
and yes, the trilene knot does hold as well as the palomar knot. the line will usually break somewhere other than at the knot too. but when you add braids to the mix, the palomar wins.
