Brunnette who needs help planning a new hairstyle to boost self esteem and look gorgeous?
I have an oval face shape so I’m sure its OK if I go with side bangs. But I have THIN/FINE hair, so I can’t decide what to do with the rest of it. I’ve spent the last two years trying to grow it out and now its down my back and I’m not so impressed with it, and it’s dry, brassy, and has tons of split ends. Should I get a blunt cut with layers, or one layer, shoulder length, cut to frame my face, or shorter in the back to longer towards the front? Any suggestions for fine/thin hair that is not shorter than shoulder length would be great.
And for the color, I have warm/neutral skin tones and naturally dark brown hair. I want to get a light/med golden sun kissed brown color on the top that gradually fades to a darker chocolate brown on the bottom layer. Is this possible? I think Eva Longoria had this hairstyle once? If it is possible, how do I tell my hair stylist so there’s no miscommunication, or in your opinion is there something else I should do?
to get the two toned look, you’re better off getting half a head of foiles and get her to dye the rest a darker colour. get two different coloured highlights for the half head foils and this will make it more natural. i got natural brown and dark blonde highlights and it totally changed my look.
