Stainless Hook
What the heck is this kitchen gadget?
My fiance and I bought a whole box of kitchen ware at a yard sale and cannot for the life of us figure out what this gadget is. It works like a pair of tongs or tweezers but is connected at the end with something that almost resembled a FLATTENED mallet but hooked with a little tooth. Does anyone know!? On the side it says ‘Stainless’ and ‘Taiwan’ underneath of a chicken or rooster on a nest which I’ve learned is the old logo for The Pampered Chef. Hope the pics are clear enough to see it…and I’ve been having trouble with the links so I’ve separated them.

It’s a cookie dropper (or scoop if you prefer) Use the flat part to scoop up the dough and then the arm is used to slide the dough off the scoop onto the pan.
