Will the game “End” after completing the fallout 3 addon: Broken steel?
After I complete the fallout 3 addon: Broken Steel, does that officially end game and prevent me from playing it after finishing the last main quest? OR does just let me keep on playing? And, While playing broken steel can i do any of the side quests from the fallout 3 game itself?
You can keep playing.
Broken steel is the add-on that boosts the lvl cap to 30 and makes it so the game does NOT end. Many players were upset that you couldn’t play after the first ending and this add-on is a direct fix to that.
Broken steel boosts the lvl cap to 30 and lets you run around the original fallout map and locations so that you can play the other add-ons (anchorage/the pit/pointlookout/mothership) at anytime you want.
So basically, there is no real ending that makes the game “end” -
The quest line of broken steel allows you to either blow up a giant mobile vehicle the enclave uses as a base OR the Brotherhood’s “Citadel” …. the choice is yours at that point.
Blowing up the citadel makes you an instant threat to the brotherhood guys, obviously, for the rest of the game.
and you’d still be a threat to the enclave as well.
