How do you deal with a catfish after catching it??
Doesnt it have thorns/stingers??do you just cut their stingers off, and then remove your hook??or what do you do?then if you want to keep it fresh(alive), do you tie a string to its mouth and then put it in the water??
Best way I found to hold a catfish is grab them by putting the palm of your hand on their belly, and keepin their fins out to the sides and the dorsal fin away from you.
Keeps you from getting stuck and you’ll have a good firm hold on them while you remove the hook.
