How’s the topwater bite been for you?
Around here all the anglers are in a state of panic! The bass are really blowing up on chuggers right now. I went out this morning “armed” with a Heddon Pop’n Image, Arbogast Hula Popper, and a brand new Storm Chug Bug that I bought yesterday. I don’t know if it’s the long and slender profile of it, but I’ll tell you, the bass nearly destroyed my Chug Bug! It was the only popper I had that they they were “craving”. How is the topwater bite for you right now?
Good question – interesting fact about the chug bug being so hot for you- In my parts several people have slaughtered them on it- Also the tiny torpedo in clear color. I’ve had limited success on the Pop-R. For some reason the chug bug has went missing from my tackle box. What kind of friends do I have here?
