Trolling Hooks
Should I disconnect my battery from my trolling motor when I’m not using it?
I have a small pontoon (4 X10) . I have a 12 v deep cylce battery hooked up to the trolling motor. Does it draw energy when the motor is not operating? Should I disconnect the + and – cables? thanks
It should not matter, However if you are not going to use it for a while why not , I don,t think it will hurt it, I have a trolling motor and battery I always disconnect it and I use it pretty often. hope this helps
