Tying Chemically
Do you believe the emotions we feel are?
spiritual? or chemical reactions? I know that it ties into the body in the sense that one is stressed out you get physical ailments, negative energy (one negative attitude can ruin a whole group) or misery loves company. If you think its chemical or whatever besides spiritual then how is it that its chemically reactive in one of those situations? What are your thoughts as an atheist if you don’t believe in spiritual things?
They are integrally tied in a unity of the physical and the unexplained.
Our brain is….
A convoluted, layered lump of micro-neuron pudding.
Fats and proteins forming electrochemical paths and branches.
The branches and paths develop loose circuits which react and modify themselves according to incoming sensory stimulus.
Spontaneous interactions within the circuits, creating cascades of intangible formulations. A foundation of learned response and cause and effect experience allows the formulations to shape themselves into what we refer to as “thoughts”. Thinking a volume of collective thoughts forges a “mind” or a “sentient consciousness”.
If an individual’s central nervous system is rendered defective, is not the mind affected as well? Of course.
In accompaniment with all this bio-stuff, is what we believe is a spirit or soul. The soul is part of God’s realm and interacts with the sceintific brain in a constant struggle. This is the source of the “quiet thoughts”. Your “concience”! If you can learn to “listen” to your spirit ALONG with your biological brain, you will acheive harmony.
Your life will change.
