whats the point of ultra-thin apple notebooks when all you can do with it is watch pictures, movies and the?
internet. Doesn’t even have a CD Drive .
OK so portability seems to be the main feature. But what’s the use of it being portable if it can’t do what you want it do to?

im sure apple fans are going to show up in droves to this question to say portability. if your serious about portability you would look at some of the Lenovos, Sony’s and Dells which are designed for that.

thats funny, because the macbook is 5.1lbs, not 10, has a CD drive, more battery life, and is more powerful. several PC companies make 3lb notebooks which destroy the Macbook air in battery life, and have a CD.
i can imagine using a macbook and oh noes i ran out of battery. oh wait, im a business user so i have back up batteries. oh wait, no i dont because the battery in the macbook air is not user replacable. now ill have to interupt the meeting to go find a power plug. oh, they are handing out presentations on CDs, now im really F’ed.
