Used Condition
Are there standardized guidelines for describing the condition of used books?
On Amazon I see used books described as “acceptable”, “good”, “very good”, etc. Are these terms standardized for all sellers or do they vary between sellers? Is there a site where I can read the criteria for each of these ratings?
Basically if its.
Good: it looks good some scuffs and scratches, but overall fine.
Very Good: it looks new, hardly any scratches at all.
Acceptable: is old and maybe the cover is slightly coming of, but it is still usable.
If its worse that Acceptable, then still put Acceptable but tell them what’s wrong with it in the description.
Personally I by used books because they look old and I like that effect.
