Favorite Fisin’n Lure?
What lure fresh or saltwater have you had the most success with or is just your favorite.
I would say mine is a 3 5/8″ 1/4 oz. blue tiger yo-zuri crystal minnow.
Largemouth Bass- Jig/Jig Spinner combo, (it’s like a spinnerbait).
Smallmouth-Jig & Berkley “Gulp” grub or “Float Worm”.
Bluegill/Crappie- 1/16 OZ Marabou Jig or a Bett’s Fly-fishing popper.
Northern’s- Rapala “Shad Rap” or Rapala Spoon in “Firetiger”.
Saltwater
Red’s- Berkley “Gulp” Jerk Shad in “New Penny” or “Sardine” & 1/4 OZ Chartruese or Red-headed Jig With Berkley Powerbait 4″ saltwater Grub.
Trout (Spec’s)- Heddon Super Spook in “Black Shiner” & 1/4 OZ Jig with B Powerbait 4″ saltwater Grub.(When you are hunting for trout a Super-Spook is an awesome “search-lure”!)
Snook- See “Red’s” lure.
Offshore Trolling- C & H Lil’ Stubby or a Wahoo Whacker. (These are “fast troll” lures. I would prefer to “slow troll” or “drift” big Pogey’s!)
Offshore Bottom- 1-2 OZ Jig with (guess what!) Berkley “Gulp” “Swimming Mullet” jig body.
I guess “Jig” would be my answer in most situation’s, (lol).
